This page describes the main information-handling tools currently used on LoadoutLens. It should be updated whenever new advertising, affiliate tracking, payment, account, or analytics technology is added.

Email subscriptions

If you choose to join the LoadoutLens email list, you provide your email address voluntarily. LoadoutLens uses Brevo to process the signup and manage the subscriber list. The information submitted through the signup form is transferred to Brevo for processing so the subscription can be managed and requested communications can be sent.

Website analytics

LoadoutLens uses Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand page views and website performance. Cloudflare describes Web Analytics as privacy-first and cookie-free and states that it does not collect or use visitors' personal data for this service.

Setup Builder

The Setup Builder asks for gaming preferences such as platform, budget range, games, equipment already owned, and an improvement goal. In the current version, these answers are used in the browser to generate recommendations; LoadoutLens does not ask for an account to use the builder.

Affiliate and advertising technology

The current product links in this version are not Amazon affiliate links. If LoadoutLens later adds affiliate tracking, advertising pixels, cookies, or similar technologies, this policy will be updated before those technologies are activated, including information about relevant third parties and visitor choices where required.

Your choices

Email signup is optional. Marketing emails sent through LoadoutLens's email provider should include the applicable unsubscribe mechanism so subscribers can stop future marketing messages.

Policy changes

LoadoutLens may update this page as the site's services and providers change. The updated date above will be changed when material revisions are made.
